The course was designed by Stirling & Martin, and after two periods of private management, it was closed to the public in 2009.
In 2011, the City Council of Arroyo de la Encomienda decided to assume its management, becoming a municipal field from then on.
It is an 18-hole golf course, designed by Stirling & Martin, Executive, par 60 with an approximate length of 3,100 metres, designed for all types of players.
High handicaps will be rewarded for the Slope offered by their course and low handicaps will have to work hard to get a good result.
Conceived for the fun and entertainment of players, whatever their golfing level.
It shows a great integration with the environment with numerous lakes and bunkers, in the middle of nature.
A driving range with covered tee boxes, a putting green, an approach area for the short game and a practice bunker.
Being an Executive course , the distances between the holes are not as long as in traditional courses, alternating short holes with long ones.
Technically, the course is very interesting, since the design of each hole has been studied to provide a continuous challenge for the most accomplished players.
In addition to the course itself, the Sotoverde Sports Complex has paddle and tennis courts, a social lounge, a terrace, free parking and a Club House.
