La Lagunilla

In the heart of Campo de Montiel in Albacete, next to the road that leads from El Bonillo to Lagunas de Ruidera, in the middle of a natural plateau, we find La Lagunilla, the only public initiative golf course in Castilla La Mancha.

The “La Lagunilla” Golf Course in El Bonillo is inserted in a beautiful undulating landscape, with forest vegetation where the juniper, the pine and the elm are the absolute protagonists of the environment, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and calm that is very suitable for practice of this sport.

The La Lagunilla Golf Course in El Bonillo is a 9-hole golf course, which was inaugurated in June 2009. It is the first course in the province of Albacete and the only public one in Castilla la Mancha.

It has a Practice Field, Parking, Private and Group Lessons Service, Pitching Area, Minigolf, Club Rental Service, Swimming Pool, Putting Green and Boogies (prior reservation).

The La Lagunilla Golf Course maintains an annual calendar of approximately 40 tournaments, and is approved by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation.

Some of the most unique attributes of the La Lagunilla Golf Course are its environmental and social commitment, since its grass is irrigated with recycled water and its public nature allows very affordable prices for all types of golfers, demystifying the cliché of associating this sport to certain social classes.

La Lagunilla consists of a long nine-hole course (approx. 3,000 metres), with wide tees, generous greens, mowed fairways, gently sloping profiles, with a varied design of medium difficulty, and provides the player with the possibility of face all those challenges that are the basis and motivation of playing golf.
